Doctors and employees Commemorated eight years of achievements at Quaid-e-Azam International Hospital Islamabad. The 8th Anniversary programme was held at Q.I.H premises and attended doctors, employees and guests from within the country and abroad. More than 2000 people joined the event.
The programme included welcome address by the eminent orthopedic surgeon Dr. Khalid Saleem Aslam who appreciated the efforts of the old doctors & staff along with new ones who recently joined the hospital.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Shaukat Ali Bangash Founder & CEO of Q.I.H said that this celebration is to recognize all of your accomplishments and your dedication to making the Q.I.H the place to be. He added that since eight years we started all super specialties such as Kidney Transplant, Liver Transplant, Bone Marrow Transplant, hip and knee replacement and even further expression of Clinical Services is on the horizon. He informed that by the grace of Almighty Allah, we have completed century of Liver Transplants in less than two years. He also emphasized that all employees should be dedicated to deliver compassionate care to the patients and excel in the service. He thanked all the doctors and staff for turning the page in eight years. A congratulatory video message from the eminent scholar Molana Tariq Jamil was also displayed in the programme which stated “I salute Dr. Bangash and all doctors and employees of Q.I.H for their daily dedication to delivering compassionate care to those in need from across the country and beyond and their steadfast commitment to excellence in patient care and services. He said that he had a desire to attend the programme but could not make it because of his visit abroad.
A special cake cutting ceremony was held in the end followed by musical performance by legendary singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan.
