Monthly Orthopedic Surgery Clinical Meeting was held at Quaid-e-Azam International Hospital, Islamabad on Saturday, January 30, 2016. These clinical meeting are regularly held under the supervision of Pakistan Orthopedic Association in Islamabad and Rawalpindi on monthly basis where all Orthopedic Surgeons of Twin city gather at one location to discuss interesting and complicated cases.
It is not only important part of continual Medical Education for Orthopedic Surgeons of the local area but it provides a unique opportunity for the Orthopedic and General Surgery Residents and Trainees regarding management of complicated Orthopedic Pathologies.
This Meeting was held under supervision of Dr. Khalid Aslam who is head of Orthopedic Surgery Department. Prominent Orthopedic Surgeons of Rawalpindi and Islamabad along with a number of trainee doctors attended the meeting.
Few interesting cases were presented by Dr. Abid Niazi. These complicated and unusual orthopedic problems were successfully managed in Quaid-e-Azam International Hospital recently. An Interesting case of Hand Tumor was presented by Dr. Omer Nabi who is medical officer in Orthopedic Surgery. The Audience was given an ample opportunity to ask questions and queries regarding the presented cases and their queries generated detailed discussion among various surgeons. Surgeons of Rawalpindi and Islamabad greatly appreciated the quality of work done at this hospital.
